I used JB weld. Just apply it and let it sit for at least a day (24 hours)

 

drummerjun have you had any trouble with Cali cops with the new headlights? I'm getting stopped at every check point and was just curious if the lights have caused any issues - before I order some.

 

No trouble at all! Even with HID's!!
(but I did make my HID's aim lower so they won't blind anybody *COPS especially* )

 

excuse my ignants. but what are hids, and were do i go to get these cool lights? how much are the lights+ shipping to new york?

 

HIDs are short for High Intensity Discharge lights. these are the types of lights that come stock on most, if not all, luxury vehicles. they have made it illegal to use in the United States, but they are still readily available. A set of these lights could come between the range of $350-$700. They come in different temperatures (4500k-12000k). Low temperatures mean the lights are brighter and more white. High temperatures mean dimmer lights and they have a more blue/purple tint. However, when i say dimmer lights, its dimmer than lower temp HIDs, but still way brighter than stock. If you are thinking these are just simple plug and play bulbs, they're not. HID systems use bulbs as well as these things called ballasts. These ballasts, in turn, allow the HID bulbs to burn at alot less wattage than normal bulbs and will inevitably make the lifetime of HIDs practically longer than the car itself.

you can go to any import car shop and order a set of these bulbs or go search around the internet for a set. the only site i know that has 9007 is www.proxenon.com. check them out and If you have anymore questions, feel free to PM me.

Jun, does a manual come wiht it? I'm not good at cars..and i don't think i will be able to answer when whoever is installing it for me asks me something..I kno its on this thread (very brief), but i was wondering if thre's a hard copy that comes wiht it. Specifically the wiring. THanks!.anyone?!..
