Thumbs up Lancer oz rally evo front

I am new to this forum. Hi to all

The car is finally finish I did everything by myself just using reference pics.I am from Puerto Rico so sorry for my english if it is not so good.

I bought the car stock and had id like that for a couple of months, then some assh$%^& stole my front bumper, sideskirt and rear lip in the train station parking. With the insurrance money from the government I bought the body kit.

This is the car with te first big change not a lot of pics but you get the idea.

My luck could not get better and some genius dumb driver ate the stop sign, I crash into him and trash the front bumper, fender and bent the frame It was a pick up and he said the accelerator got stuck

I had to replace the radiator frame, fender and bumper so I said lets do an evo front and I crunch the numbers and it was half the price so I did it!!Here it is hope you like it.

I had seen a couple of lancer done in here and more in the web. I can say that was my motivation.
I tried to minimize the pictures but I could not do it so FAIL to me on that jeje
The car is my daily driver and is far from done yet.
I want to make it:

0 side skirts (in progress of modifying to make them fit better or evo fenders)
1 Turbo
2 5lugs
3 rims
4 evo interior
5 ect
Comments are welcome

Car looks great. One of the better looking evo front end conversions. Prob the angles of the pics and everything but it looks to match up better than others i've seen. Either way, looks fantastic! EVO or not it sure beats the front end of the lancer, and isnt that the point? To make a dumpy looking car look better.

I think it looked better before, the evo front looks way better for sure but it dosn't sit right without the wide rear to compliment.

I think it looks better with the Evo front. Is it wider than the lancer one? Doesn't look so in the pics?

That looks... awesome! By far the cleanest job i've seen done like it
so far! Kudos to you man it looks sick. There's a lot of hating evo owners
on this site don't worry about em. Keep it up man looks tight.

Yeah its wider because it matches up with the fenders that flare out more, however i usually feel that the evo fender line doesnt match up well with the lancer doors and rear but for some reason this works. Its prob just the pictures, but either way, from more than 20 feet it could fool anyone

First I am not trying to fool anyone so FAIL to you
Now back to topic .thanks for all the good feedback I appreciate it and i know from turbotime thread that there are some haters but what you can do meh.
I can't do the rear evo wide because of the $ and the plans for it,when I finish everything it is on the last of my list.
The fenders are wider I will try to get more shots from different angles so you can see it better and see the rear bumper. All the peaces where practically bolt on and lined perfectly with the frame ,doors and hood,it was just to take everything apart and reassemble it.If some one wants to do it to I can help with every questions.

You can tell how wide it is by the fenders, it just doesn't sit flush. I understand what everyone is saying about it looking nice, but personally I've never liked turning our cars into an evo replica, you're just basically putting on a stock evo body onto our cars. It doesn't say much, it's very different from say, putting the Silvia front end on a 240. All in all, good job, but the shop who did it should've made the fenders fit more flush towards the bottom.

The front door looks the same, but the rear doors bump out towards the back end and flow into the rear quarter panel lines. Unfortunately for the lancer, the rear quarter panel is a major part of the body work, and doesnt really bolt on and off like the front or even the bumpers. The stock lancer portion would need to be cut off and the evo would need to be welded on. Theres a thread on here somewhere of someone who did/is doing just that, but its A LOT of work. Hes pretty much turning the stock lancer into a stock evo. If you can get that quarter panel changed out, the rest of the car pretty much bolts up (looks wise).
