hey .L., have you talked to your friend about these headlights yet??? when are the first set coming out......

 

yeah check on the first page bro. i talked to him like 2 weeks ago, and no word yet. the only thing they know is that they ARE coming very soon (just waiting for the shipment). no word on price or look though. considering the latest trends, i'm sure they will offer them in chrome, and smoked look.

 

i want a set!!! =)

 

I hope they're below $200. But then again, these headlights are for 2002 Lancers and up...

 

i hope there is a good demmand for these headlight being as our model of lancer where only made for 2 years.....wierd but whatever i'm happy with my lancer, don't care much for the new ralliart other then the fact that its a lancer i have issues with its styling but i what i'm trying to get at is since our cars where only made for two years that is going to hurt us on aftermarket stuff products like these headlights when they come out. if there is no demmand they will discontinue the products ans soon we will be left in the dark

 

could they make them black housings with the angel eyes....my moms 2000 impala has blacklight housings...and im to afraid to paint my own etc.

 

if you read this page(2) of the thread .L. says that no one know how they look yet. but he thinks that they will be coming out in the populer styles like chorme and smoked which is the black out look everyone wants. But we have to wait like another 2 months or so to see the finished product. if you want go to www.advanceimports.com and see the projectors they make for other cars. i think its worth the wait if they already have them done and are just mass producing them now

 

bump......call me the grave digger lol. can't let this thread slip to far back. i want these projector lights. and every time that i go to advaceimports and see the lights they have for other makes me want them more....... .L. I know you said 4-7 weeks so i keep checking AI's website for updates but no such luck.. oh well if you have anything new to tell the large number of lancer owners waiting for this thing to come out let us know.

 

^ dont trip bro i got you. i'll definately keep you guys posted. they just came out with some projector angle eyes for the infiniti j35. they look sooooooo bad@ss. they look like the lancer headlights. WHEN they do release the lights for our cars, they are going to look sweet.

 

I'm pretty sure I'll be down for a set... Im just debating between waiting for these or spluging now and getting the JDM ones Joe's got the hook up with.

 

I'm going back to Taiwan this winter and hopefully I can talk to one of the guys from DEPO...
I'll see what I can do...

cool, always good to have MORE options. i'm all for it. meantime i'll see whats up with the advance imports projectors. i'll keep everyone posted.

 

if the headlights turn out to look like drummerjuns [joe] illustration on how he wants the headlights to look like...then i'll get a set! i rather have projector headlights so i can put HIDs in.
