Ive seen the add too.. The biggest pic on the top of the add is not a wide kit.. But the smaller evo pix are wide.. But is this really for the regular lancers??.. Lets not get our hopes up

*squirt squirt* wow, that looks killer. i like the size and placement of the fogs...not too big, not too small. the kit looks simple not all extravegant like some of the other crazy kits out there...

 

Agreed, best looking kit for the Lancer EVER. Just remember that is an EVO with the kit on, the Lancer kit may be a tad different.

wait, thats an evo? why'd they attatch the grille to the hood? lol isn't that what us lancer owners have been tryin to get rid of? hehe, at least it doesn't look as cumbersome...do you know if the lancer version of that kit will have the grille attatched to the hood? or will it come with a hood seperate from the front bumper?

 

Ok guys, here is the news for the day. I talked with my rep at VIS. Bad news the only part of the widebody kit to fit the Lancer is the Front bumper. The front fenders don't fit. They are for the EVO8.

He is going to check to see if the rear fender flares work. He will get me pricing on the parts that do fit. Sorry for the bad news. He apologized for the mis-info. He also didn't know if they intended to make the fender for the Lancer either.

So what can we get, Front bumper, Hood, Trunk and maybe the rear fender flares.( I'd also assume the side skirts, but I'll ask about that, forgot)

Thats all I have until at least Monday.

 

Heheh.. I knew it... But hope VIS will make more stuff for our regular Lancers.... But the fender flares looks like it will fit.. Just a lil tweaking..

 

also, if bumper for an evo 8 would fit a lancer, than why wouldn't others? that doesn't make much sense to me unless they are only going to construct the front bumper/hood combo specifically for the lancer

 

i really like the way it looks. its neet and not too aggresive. but i really appreciate it if someone can post a pic of that kit on a lancer.
