here are the pics from painting my headlights. some of these may be good for writing up a how-to. sorry if some are kinda dark. this is the head light broken down into three pieces after baking at 260 for 8 min.

 

first coat of paint on the silver deal.

 

duplicolor engine 500 degree hi temp low gloss black paint and a partridge in a pear tree...

 

dam man ur fast. lol u were talking bout this last night. correct me if im wrong

final coat.... let it dry about 40 min, otherwise you will have some nasty toxic smells coming from your oven.

 

headlight.... its whats for dinner.

 

may the lesson be learned by me, and everyone should take heed... do not leave your headlight pieces in the oven longer then about 8 min when they are in seperate pieces and you are gonna reassemble. as you can notice, i now have a white area in the inside corner of my headlight. of course all ovens are different, so keep an eye on the lights as much as you can. dont worry about the plastic melting though. anyone wanna offer me a deal on a drivers side headlight? other then that, it looks damn good. more pics below the the PERFECT passenger headlight.

these things came out beautifully, well one did, and i cant wait to get HID now. i only noticed a very slight decrease in the amount of light produced by the headlight. later today when it stops raining so hard i will get some pics of the whole front of the car with them in. BIG BIG BIG thanks to zapcolancer!!! my sn on aol is oranginous, so IM me if you need help or reassurance, lol.
