Like I've said before, for the lights, you either get the cheapest halogens, or the best real HID's....

Don't waste your money on $50~$90 PIAA's, they may be brighter than stock, but miniscale, and it's still halogen.
If you just want the cool white color look, get the cheapest $10 bulbs from eBay.
Just make sure they DRAW 55/65w, to be safe.
(some bulbs might say "DRAW 55/65w and OUTPUTS 100/110w", those are fine...)
Koba, Hiper 9007's are cool!

Or, just go extreme and sign up the BOHMEN HID GB now which is gonna end in a week.

When you say they burn out, is that just the bulb and no damage to the car itself??? they say the wire is protected

So if you buy HID lights, then there aren't any "brights"? Or is it just a wider range for the light?

^ The HID bulbs are single-beam bulbs, meaning there won't be any high beams even when you flip the light switch. (they shouldn't even been refered to as "Low beams" in the first place
However, HID's are so bright that even if you have high beams that's not HID, they'll be totally useless.
Am I saying that right Will?

Nope, just the bulb itself, sometimes the plug (connected to the bulb) might melt too. (but I've no idea how people could ever do that)

you could melt the harness by using too much wattages' bulb...
and for hid.. HID are maybe 5 times brighter than halogen bulbs
it puts out PURE WHITE light beam and the brightness is wayyy better...and the light beam shoot wayy farther.. u can see the reflecter miles down the street on the freeway. also it gives u wider range of light beams as well!
