Mismatched hose: keep or start over?

OK, due to some stupidity and a long story, I have a very mismatched engine compartment at the moment.

Red: strut bar, battery tie-down, prop rod, 4mm silicone hose
Blue: ground kit, 6mm and 8mm silicone hose

I'll try to get a pic after work, but basically that's the story. I need opinions here - should I just leave it since it's not a show car, or should I care a little more about the engine appearance? It would be easiest to convert to blue, since I could paint the strut bar, tie-down and prop rod. What does everyone think?

Yeah, the thought crossed my mind. But then again, I'm not very all-American. I like anarchy more...

well I know that if that was my engine i would have taken out your red components and painted them immediately. i myself am a perfectionist, so obviously i would want everything to match.....now all you need is a blue powder coated intake manifold and valve cover. do you have a blue silicone hose kit? RRM has it for only $30 and it would accent the rest of the blue nicely .....good luck!

Tanner65 - silver

TG LanceR - yes, the 6mm and 8mm are the RRM. I was unable to get the 4mm from them (they don't part out items)

Mitsubishi_03 - you make a good point, but I don't know if I'm going to RRM it out. I'm pretty cash-strapped, so there aren't many mods going on.

Yes, I know about the RRM kit. I should've just bought it and saved myself the trouble of all this. That's what I meant when I said stupidity caused this.

I would just start over I think you said you wanted to go for blue so I would just pick the blue and paint the red stuff that you can or sell it so you can rebuy it in blue.
