hahaha, oh well. maybe i was the first to think of it? I have been planning to do it since the beginning of summer... long before anyone else painted their housings... I just never got around to it

Yeah I'll give you that, lol. Your car's gray, right? You might not able to tell as well cause they may look blacked out from far away. I'm hoping mine will stand out a lil more.

So I got the headlights apart tonight, sanded everything down, etc. Taking it to the paint shop tomorrow where they have my exact paint there (from a previous accident). I hope it turns out well, wish me luck.

i was thinking of painting my housings thunder gray and seeing about getting some cheapo altezzas and painting in them thunder gray as well..just an idea. im to poor to do that now though lol. good luck bro and post some pics

yup, my lancer is thunder grey. I thought about the altezza thing too... I know they sell the TYC in gunmetal, but it isnt close enough to my liking. I may buy some cheapos off ebay and try it out. if you beat me to it, please post pics

I considered black for a long time too but I want something different. After seeing the RSX pic I just hope mine turn out to be just as nice.

Hmmmmmm, hadn't thought of that...

I don't think our headlights get that hot, the bulbs are only 55/65 watts. I'll have to ask the shop and see what they can do.

Thanx for bringing that up.

you could probably use some duplicolor 500*F engine paint...it does come in clear...and i think many that are painting black are using the duplicolor flat black engine paint
