Removing OZ Skirts

Could someone tell me how to remove front, rear and side skirts on a stock Lancer OZ Rally Edition? Is it just removing the bolts near the 4 wheels? I just wanna be sure so I don't mess everything up.

Thanks in advance everyone.

Well I'm heading north where there's already a lot of snow and I fear that snow (or ice) could hurt the skirts.

Thanks Mitsubishi_03. Can anyone confirm what he said?

The skirts won't have any trouble with snow or ice, unless your car is yellow, at which point the paint is probably coming off due to contact with the AIR.

The skirts are attached with bolts in the wheel wells and clips running down the length, I believe. If they aren't clips, you can bet there's a hell of an adhesive on there.

As for the front skirt, see Hobie's RMR lip install in the features section. It shows how to remove the front skirt and what to expect.

EDIT: Just noticed you drive an ES. You buy skirts aftermarket, or are you really aksing so you know how to steal someone elses? j/k.

OZ owners in Montreal should keep a close eye on on their lip kits

i don't see why you would take off your skirts.....it is a factory kit which is much stronger than any kit you will most likely buy, and car companies wouldn't sell cars with kits that would break just because of a little bit of snow, but then again Mitsubishi LOVES to sell cars with a thin layer of paint :/

Haha you funny guys...

No actually if you want to know the reason it's that I've made install these skirts by a body shop a few months ago. The only little problem is since then I had an adventure with the manager's sister which turned really bad. No need to say anything else...

So you will understand I don't feel like returning there to ask them how they did it. I will go to the dealer tomorow and ask them (but most of the time they don't know ****). Or maybe since my car is blue I will keep them...

Thanks everyone
