im just lookin at rims...i got a Thunder Gray Lancer...and was thinkin...if i were to get like...20%tint all around, and Black Rims...than paint the badges black and maybe if i get decals along the side skirt or along the tire fender....how that would look?

so i was curious...does anyone with a T.G. Lancer have black rims and at least 20%tint??

what do u all think about this idea?

 

I got black on a yellow car with 35% tint. Black rims are the way to go dont ask for opinions because 80% of the people will hate them, but true enthusiasts will like them and so will you. Just do it.

 

yup, as long as you're happy w/ them and you like that look, who care what others think about them, thats their opinions whether they'll like them or not...besides, are you really gonna go w/ what someone say to do or get for "YOUR" ride!? but if you still want to hear my opinion then...well, i've always like that greyish to midnight black look, i think that might look cool, especially if that badboy was slammed to the pavement!!! i could see it now..."BLACK DEATH" whizzzing by...

 

lol...yeah i was messin in photoshop and with the evo7 cf grill...dark windows, slammed, with black Konig Blatants....it looked really nice. so i might go with black....than i could get a black ricer wing and black racing stripes!! (im j/k with that stuff though)

i was mainly lookin to see if there were any T.G. Lancers with Black rims really...most of us TG'ers go with Gunmetal...i think i'll be different

 

Black rims look like they are caked with brake dust. They look bad in my opinion. Check into the gunmetal, they're more trendy right now.

 

The reason i wouldnt get black rims is because i like the contrast that chrome has so im getting 18 inch chrome rims i like the bling bling on my thunder grey but if ur going for low profile street racer go with gunmetal/polished silver lip that looks hot on the thunder grey. But all black is a nono

 

ive got gunmetal rims on mine.. with yellow oz.. looks very good imo.. everyone else seems to think so also... pm me if u want a pic

I'm looking for black or gunmetal with polished lips for my Yellow OZ!!! I think the contrast is sharp!!
