new pics painted brakes
That is exactly what mine looks like ( minus the paint mess-ups
) Probably used the same paint can because it seems like an exact paint match. Looks good, I did my back and front too.

id paint mine...but i got the ES hub covers lmao. i plan on some gunmetal rims....wut color u suggest for a thunder gray lancer with gunmetal rims? i think im gonna accent my car with blue interior/engine dress up wise....maybe green neons though..im kinda weird like that lol.
in reply to mr.jon just about any auto shop should have caliper disk and rotor paint thats all you need and you can paint them without takin them off actually i would suggest it cause too much work is involved to take them off you know bleed brakes make sure you put them on just right blah blah anyways i will take a better pic of the rear tm after work and 1 or 2 coats is enuff.
now drive02lancer thunder grey is the dark grey if im not mistaken my opinion either blue or red would look good on that and even if you do paint it you can always go paint it again if you dont like it cause it only takes about 45 min to do all the brakes.

they look nice.. i was trying to do what you did with the red painted calipers, but i'm "underage" for caliper spraypaint.. lmao
i have a question however.. did you paint your brake calipers using a bucket of paint and brush or did you try spraypaint? being the idiot i am, i'd rather not take the brake calipers off because i'd rather not mess my brakes up (they're only one of the most important parts of the car you know)
i'll probably just get my friend to go into autozone and get me some cardinal red paint for the brakes... you know since i'm "underage" for paint.. lmao

They told you that? LOL I sent my brother in to buy a can for me and he is 13.... No leave them on and tape/paper up stuff good, thats what I did, came out perfect, no paint in places it shouldnt be, used a combo of newspaper, printer paper, and electrical tape.
haha.. yeah it was crazy stuff.. it was some new guy there who just got the job and he asked the manager if the caliper spraypaint was one of those things that "they must ID". i showed them my driver license showing that i was 17 and they said, "sorry you must be 18 to purchase spraypaint".. pretty idiotic i know.. it's not like i was going to "graffiti" things around here.. maybe it's one of those "Texas" laws here or either a Dallas law enforced. my parents said that law has always been here too.. weird stuff
anyways, thanks for the tips kromix, i'll work on trying to get some caliper paint from a friend of mine who should be able to go in and get it for me.. if not, i'll just get my dad to get some... lmao
looking good kromix!
