From what i've been told......earl scheib is ****....that their paint chips and fades and all this other bull****......however thats only waht i've been told (by atleast 5-10 diff people). I would search around for a quality shop near you and get some quotes
Coudn't hurt? Anyways, whichever you do end up doing, good luck bro

dont go for those cheap paint jobs. as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." the best paint job you could possibly get could run you between $2000-$3000. that includes many coats of the base coat as well as the clear coat so you dont gotta worry about the chipping like the cheap mitsu****si paint. but if you wanna go with that $600 paint job, my friend just got a $400 paing job from maaco and it turned out decent.. good paint job overall, but not as clean as a $2000 job..
If you're determined to spend less than $1000 on a complete paint job, then go to One Day or some other similar place that offers their top of the line job with a urethane clear coat and get it. Earl Shieb and a few others will only offer single stage even on their highest price paint jobs, and the materials they use are ****. Really only good for imediate sale of the vehicles they paint. A urethane clear coated job from one of the mass production paint places will last a couple years, as opposed to a couple months for the ****ty single stage synthetic enamel crap paint, and still come in under $1000. Of course, any quicky paint job is still crap.
If you want show quality, start saving about four grand to get the job done right. If you just want something nice that will last and look good for a long time, then plan on somewhere between $1500-$2500 depending on how much you're painting(body, jambs, spoiler, ground effects). The trick is to shop around and try to play one shop against the other if they show interest in painting your car, some won't. If you can convince them you can bring them more business, and they have in interest in doing completes, then that will probably help out with price even more. Don't be affraid to grind on 'em over the price, if you don't ask for a break on the price, you won't get it.
That my advice anyway, prices may vary depending on your area, but they'll probably be pretty close to the ones I mentioned.
