I got rrm carbon fiber tails on my thunder grey lancer and they look great. They leak though. I took them off and applied some silicone around the corners where the clear lens meets the housing. I have reinstalled them but im keeping my fingers crossed. In my opinion they look way better then the ugly huge red stock lights.

 

Ehh, I'm not a real fan of Altezza taillights (buy the whole car, not just the taillights), but they don't look bad.

 

Look good, thinking about either cf or gm for my yellow OZ!!

 

they look nice. the CF TYC tails match the Thunder Gray really well, Culebra Lancer has some nice shots of his T.G. Lancer with CF TYC Tails...i want them for my TG Lancer

 

Be different...tint them with black transparent paint

 

eh different but old, had tinted tails on my old car, got pulled over too many times. Nobody around here has altezaas.

 

this may be a dumb question, but what is the definition altezza? whenever ive heard ppl talking about them, they have referred to them as being the tails with clear lens and chrome housing. are my tyc cf tails considered altezza?

 

well supposedly, the style of those clear taillights came from the lexus IS300.. and then lexus IS300 is known as the toyota altezza in japan, hence the name 'altezzas'..

 

yeah it doesnt have to be clear and chrome necessairly, just the style
