Lightbulb Rerouted throttle cable

Ok, I've noticed that nobody seem to care that the throttle cable routing on our cars is UGLY. I don't know about you guys, but personnaly, I don't want to look at it going accross the top of my valve cover. So here's a quick fix that can help to clean up a cluttered engine compartment.

Notice no cable up front.

Cable routes through the intake and bracket from valve cover gets moved to 10mm bolt under injector harness.

Cable gets rerouted to clear airbox or any other intake.

Also loosened bolt on engine pulling bracket to fold it down out of sight.

Gonna hack off those two brackets and get the cover powder coated blue, then it should look even better.

Just thought I'd share this idea with you guys. Let me know what you think.

Very cool. I may try this if the weather goes back above freezing...

i dunno about that, it looks like it will somehow get restricted with all the engine moving and stuff.

Huh? How?

It's not next to anything that moves.

this is a good idea especially since mine keeps melting being so close to my turbo and headers, i think i will move mine for that reason alone

you can see my wires, everything is routed nicely, doesnt take that much effort, plus i have wires in there for the EGT and boost gauge, goku, i see your throttle cable hands real low near the turbo manifold, when i get a better look at my engine bay (its snowing now) ill try to figure out where they routed mine
