so where are you thinking of relocating the hazard?

What did you use for a mold? I've been thinking of experimenting with fiberglass resin and newspaper/masking tape molds. Looking to do the same thing you did here, except for the ashtray (with wideband o2).

I had thought about doing something for the clock, but that was only if I went with a tire pressure monitoring system...if the dimensions would work... http://www.jegs.com/i/Orange+Electro...P409S/10002/-1

or an in-dash radar detector:

well for the hazard im either going to get a universal hazard switch to goo in my free hole by the dimmer adjustment. or mount the old one somewhere on the driverside haha.

I just cut out the area big enough to fit a pvc pipe thats like 50mm i think and then used hot glue to get it to stay where i wanted it. then put the bondo on it. then sanded down 2mm on the inside of the pvc pipe for the gauge to fit. then primer paint. and a lite polish.

As for the tpms that might be a little big to go in there as well as the detector. but hey don't not do it cuz i dont think it will work! It sounds like a good idea heck might as wheel put them on there on the rest of that dash piece!

Also guys one reason why it isnt more inset is because the way the dash trim piece is angled and such the bottom piece of the pvc pipe couldnt go back much further than that without coming off the piece all together. Im sure i could take the front down a little more tho.

yeah, I wish I could get accurate dimensions for them...I'm just concerned that the vent controls would get messed with if they're too wide.

The gauge looks sweet tho def will look better with a nicer gauge...you can probably get an angled face, I know that the prosport ones I bought came with angled faceplate adapters (although their gauges suck, the startup routine shorts out after a month on them).

yeah, the prosport are super long/deep, too, like twice the length of the digital gauges I went with...so they might not work in that center area if it's shallow...

i was pretty bent when I bought them. I ended up going with summit racing red digital, as they looked just as nice as the cyberdyne ones but half the price. Not a fan of how the summit wideband looks...it's got their badge on it...prob go with something else...

The pro sport premium series gauges are thin... I have 2 and there only like an inch and a bit deep behind the face. Not deep at all compared to the autometers

yeah, i had these: http://prosportgauges.com/amber_whit...ce_gauges.aspx

super deep, and the starting routine fried after 3 months on the oil sending unit, and 6 months on the water temp. the voltmeter worked awesome, but had to scrap when i decided to go with different gauges.

Hopefully the premium ones don't have this issue.
