'09 GTS Body Kits
Hey guys, i've been looking around at body kits for my car. not necesarrily even a whole body kit, just a front bumper for now, some loser backed up into my car last night and didn't leave any info of anything..
but anyways that's not the point. I've looked at extreme dimmensions kits, although they look nice i don't want to have to get that **** custom fitted and all that stuff. I was looking at accolade and the kits looked cool, they had oem fittings... but then i read years of forum posts about the customer service, time it takes to ship.. not to mention the one i was looking at.. http://www.body-kit.com/2008Lanevox.html .. the top picture is apperantly not how it is. so i was wondering if anyone has done more research or installed their own new bumpers or body kits and wanted to help me out a bit, thanks!

If you don't want to go quite that far, and you want it to be reversible, you might just go with a replacement OEM bumper, add a polyt lip and maybe a blacked out bumper cover from RoadRace (or paint it). That's what I did anyway. Then added some side staps and a rear lip from Scorpion (front lip was fromt hem too).
I just like that I can go back to stock if I ever wanted to. My only concern with a kit you linked to is how well it's really going to fit. That's a major overhaul and I've never seen it outside of those pictures.
Also I'm not a huge fan of how that back part blends in with the door (or, doesn't). Front's kinda cool looking though.
Just be prepared. You're going to be paying probably $2000 for painting and install, and there will be issues.
