what are your guys opinions on going with white and yellow for my lancer......ex. yellow lancer, white rims, white decals...etc....i was originally going to go yellow and black, but i dunno, im trying to get opinions

i like white rims on yellow cars.. it would look good

 

i think white and yellow is a little overdone. you cant go wrong with black and yellow.

 

im trying to think about what i could do either way, i mean white and yellow looks good.....white rims, yellow car, white decals, but thats all i can think of.....yellow and black is easy though, hyperblack rims, tint, tail lights, head lights, hood.......its just a big decision

 

i dont like black rims... reminds me of those civics who take off the hub caps ... gun metal rims maybe.. but its all up to u

 

i got gunmetal on mine... ive gotten so many complements on my rims its unbelievable also... I was opting to get white and didnt like the look bronze may look good too imho!

 

It is all about the gunmetal rims .. it works on everything. It also is my personal choice.

 

yeh i really do like gunmetal... i saw my friend who i havent seen in 7 months and hes got a yellow oz with gunmetal rims.. i was sweating it .. makes me wanna get em

 

What r u crazy?! I think they look good but not on everything. And a black hub cap is very different than a black powder coated rim.

 

jerze i agree with you about black rims looking like steelies. i think the black on yellow is overdone a million of hte yellow lancers on this site have that theme. gaijin i have never seen a white on yellow lancer. i dont think white on yellow would look good but at least it would be more original thatn black on yellow.

Yeah I like both. But that also depends on the style of the rims. I have 23 spoke all black rims. (they were originally polished silver) They by no means look like steel wheels. At freeway speeds all you can see are disk brakes and rotors. Take a look at mine. Pic is in the link to my car up for sale. So really like you said it just depends on how something is done and how it all comes together. I like the gun metals too but I think perhaps with his yellow car the black rims with a silver look would be nice. My cars color scheme is really dark. Paint is Black Pearl with a 'vert black top. Having a chrome lip on it wouldnt have looked that hot.
