how to get 150 hp from oz
hi guys, I was thinking about what type of modifications do I need to get 150hp out of my oz rally.
I used to have a 95 240sx and I missed the the power of it, but I like my lancer more I just want more power.

Staying NAs another story. True, this has been covered dozens of times. But a search for "150 WHP" or some such thing isn't going to yield many useable results. You'll really be best off doing a manual search of the Lancer engine tech forum.
Now, that being said, you actually want to talk to Dave at RPW (Mitsiman on the boards) about staying NA.
You'll need Quad (individual) TBs, cam gear and shaft, valve springs, pistons, rods, headers, and worst of all the Haltek E6k standalone ECU.
Standalones are notoriously difficult to tune on your own without access to all kinds of datalogging equip and a dyno. Ask HobieKopek- he's using the AEM EMS standalone and reports nothing but problems.
There are several companies doing FI for the Lancer. RRM is just the one that is the most vocal on the boards. Look for RippMods (also here on EvoM.net) and a company on the East coast called Flat Land racing. They have some VERY sexy turbo kits that they sourced from thier Mirage kits and made to fit the Lancer.
In either event, wonky NA or somewhat reliable FI you're looking at at least $5k. Don't be fooled by turbo prices. Our little internals don't stand up very well. You're better off replacing most of them NOW while the engine's apart and you're not playing with the car, rather than two months from now when you ask yourself "Self, what does 10 PSI feel like?" Feels like an engine rebuild.
good luck
