Havn't installed one on my lancer yet, but my other car (Honda CRX) it cost me $400 for front, rear, sides, doorcaps, fenders and spoiler. Plus the rear bumper was cracked in half and they fixed that too. So repair, paint and install was $400.
-You can check out the job they did at ( http://www.onlineshowoff.com/index.a...rname=h8yourv8 ) and yeah I know it's ricey but I like it.
-Also make sure you get a few price quotes and find out the type of paint they use. They only charged me $140 for the paint and paint job if you decide to install it yourself.
-As long as the kit has good fitment you should be able to install it yourself and just pay for paint job. No matter what its made of you will almost always install it with screws and body tape unless your talking about molding the gaps.
All in all I wish I'd done it myself cause I could have saved some money. I always have to take it off to make it over bumps and it's very easy.
Sorry to ramble on. I'm just bored. Hope this helps

i guess it depends on area's. around here, its about $800 to prep/paint/install a full bodykit (we're talking normal rate, no extra work needed ie: modifications/altering stock bodypanels). it all depends on area, and who you know. you "could" pay anywhere from $400-$1000 depending on the circumstances.

if you can, try to get everything done at once. maybe you could talk them into giving you a discount. most bodyshops like it when its a one time deal (do everything at once). sometimes they take it as more work if you keep coming back for different things. such as bodykit, wing, hood.... all that good stuff.
