Tail light kit

I just bought the Chrome Tail light kit for my 02 OZ. I am in need of some assistance in getting the stock tail lights off. Anyone done this yet???

Are you talking about replacing the old tail lights with a whole new chrome tail light?, Like the ones from RRM? If that is it then all you have to do is release your truck and lift it up. There are two screws on a lip that goes underneath the trunk lid on the back. Remove those and then basicly pull carefully on the inside edge of the housing and you'll feel it release. There are little clips that slide into the body of the car and with you pulling on the housing they should release easily. And the lights should easily twist out and go right back in as they came out in the new ones. If that isn't what you were looking for let me know and I'll try to help. I've tried to take apart almost everything and put it back together.

Thanks that's exactly what I was looking for. I tried pulling on it a little and when it didn't come out easily I started pulling out the lining inside the trunk to see if there were more screws that I missed. I saw those 2 little plugs and didn't quite know how to get them off or if it just popped out. Thanks for the info.
