i drive a stick, i get em on sale and paid 349 for em. dont notice much differece in first but second and third seem to pull a lot harder from somewhere between 3500 and 3700 all the way up to redline. I would say they are definatly worth it. give em .

there are two ways to get to that nut the easiest way is to grind away the braket that braket is strong. the other is to pull the timming belt cover

i took the belt cover off... i didnt want to grind anything trying to keep it looking clean, plus i only plan on doing it once, if i had emissions i would probably grind it off. If you do take the cover off(extra 6 bolts or so) make sure you put a cloth over the gears, because its real easy to drop something down in there, which you would never get out.

hahaha, you guys make way more work for yourself than needed. I have big hands and was still able to do this....

All I did was reach through the header with a wrench to get it on the nut, and then lift it up (making the wrench move leftly loosy), with the nail-pulling backside of a hammer until it was loose. I had to pull up on the hammer and re-adjust the wrench maybe 3 times, then I was able to do it by hand. Took me about 3 minutes, and beats the pants off pulling the cover off the belt or grinding anything down. BUT - do it however you wish!
