my suggestion....drum roll please...

leave the badges, leave the stripes, replace stock springs with progress springs. although the mitsu symbol does look kinda funny back there all little etc...get a bigger mitsu symbol and put it back where it was...than take it and where its in front of red paint black, and where the stripes are paint it red...u know what i mean??

not sure how far back u can remember but when the "stripes" started ...the middle was only for american cars ....and mitsu is import....im not sure if it was on the right or left for imports....but yes middle is and has been only for american cars....correct me if im wrong, just hate to see an import with an american stripe...looks fugly to those who know about the stripe

 

OK, I'm cool with the stripe. I like the LANCER badge. I don't like the in the corner though. Maybe get one of the red logos and put that where it originally was to contrast the trunk and the stripes. Maybe move LANCER to the left and put the OZ Rally badge on the right? Just a thought.

 

i dont like the oz rally badge. putting a red mitsu emblem seems dumb to me on a red car. waht do you guys think of moving the lancer emblem to the left just to the right of the mitsu symbol?

umm some dont want stripes renta....also not to flame man but do some searches out of evom and find out on what side the stripes for import cars go on...not middle as i already said will i get a reply?

 

I think you should leave the Lancer badge as is, take off the mitsu one and you're done.

 

There are some great ideas u guys are mentioning, but as he said, the dealership had the stripes on before he bought the car. I am sure he would take the off or place the in the "correct" spot if he could. Wont it damage the pain if he takes them off, or look faded or something anyway?

 

now all of this is kind of irrelevant, im going to come into some money in the next year and am going turbo and then getting the kami body kit, cf hood, and ralliart grille. im taking of the stripes and badges and repainting everything then.

 

dude, the stripes are cool. also, the red badge in front looks good inbetween them, mabye try the same in the back. it would give it a uniform look. loose the lancer badge. or move it to under the car. haha. if chicks see the lancer tag, they wont be able to ask you what kind of car it is...! hence no play!

 

the front red mitsu in front is on a black grille, the mitsu in the back is ona red body and if i put between the stripes itll still be on a red body so it wont look good. im going to take everything off the back (except the spoiler) and put in black housing tycs bc i sold my cf ones.
