~a new harness~

hey~

i was searching through turbomagazine.com and came across this harness. now a couple of questions about it. it shows that the 4 pt. seatbelt harness is connected to the harness. do the belts still work as effectively as they could or no? i vivid racing is advertising one too? would this be a smart dicussion to get?? it looks effective. thanks a bunch.

Structural integrity. Just like a strut tower bar, roll cages and internal frame bars (though this one looks more for show and holding harnesses than anything else) are intended to bridge structurally weak gaps in the chassis, increasing rigidity and affording the driver added safety in the cases of many types of cages.

I'm pretty sure harnesses are less than legal on street cars. May want to check into that.

actually they call it a brace bar. it is ment to have the harness attached to it, plus add integrity like stated above. Sparco makes em for a few cars... think it may be theres looks just like it, but they dont make em for ours. When i put in my harness i guess ill just attachem to the back seats somewhere like Urban does since no one makes anything remotely like that for our car.
