actually...TDM's easier to do and much easier to afford...
but no can do without your SIGN..
and...2?who? [/B][/QUOTE]

2...ummm...some guy named Joe and the founder/creator of TDM...and afford...i am just giving you the good friend discount cause i like you you should see the price hikes for peoply i don't .

now on topic...if you are doing a JDM conversion to your lancer then why don't you put the CEDIA on your car instead of EVOLUTION??not ranting or raving just courious cause if you are trying to be authentic and have a true jdm conversion...that's what would be on the car...your not doing a JDM Evolution conversion

Trance, thanks for the constructive criticism bud! I origonally wanted to do the CEDIA badging to both the interior and exerior, but once my car started to come together I decided that I wanted to do a JDM style mixed with the looks of an Evo VII, thus the evo baging. I know your asking why I didn't put the big "EVOLUTION VII" across my trunk. The reasoning behind that one is simple....I didnt like the look of it. As I have previously mentioned...your ride should be an extension of you and should express your personal tastes and attributes. That would also explain the "VII" on my front grill, taken directly off of a JDM Evo VII, not a aftermarket conversion badge.

4 things,

1 JDM = japanese domestic market, just b/c the part comes from japan does not make it JDM.

2 lose the evo badge.

3 kind of odd that the ralliart suspension doesnt lower it anymore then that since it is a race suspension, lowering the center of gravity would help handling

4 i like your car everything seems to follow the rule form follows function and everything seems to flow really well.

o and im not hating or anything just making a few statments, and giving my opinion.

OK guys.................Heres a little lesson for all you young tuners out there, so listen up...you might learn something! If you knew anything about JDM, you would know that it stands for "Japanese Domestic Market" and if a part comes from Japan then it is JDM. The suspension would not lower it if it was for tarmac, maybe for gravel or snow set-ups. Im sorry it didnt lower it more, if you dont like it then you may want to contact RalliArt Japan and give them hell....hahaha!

my car was made 100% and assembled in Japan that does not make it JDM it is USDM. And if you knew what JDM orgianlly was it was started by people who liked the Japanese counter parts to the cars and wanted to make them look like em. Now this has got blown all to hell and everyone that thinks they buy a part from japan thinks it jdm. Such as if you had a USDM S14 and you did a JDM S14 conversion to make it look like its japanese counterpart and preform like it.

Im not doubting that it is a Ralliart suspension just suprised they did not lower the center of gravity more since if it is made for tarmac racing would would be a very even surface it would benifit to be lower. Maybe since it was made for the cedia that is what the problem is... maybe it weight more and compresses the springs more .

Anyways keep up the good work.

I know what you are saying with things that are from Japan are not all JDM and everything. What I am trying to explain is that the parts that I do have listed are "JDM"....they are made in Japan for Japanese Domestic Model cars, as apposed to the highly misunderstood "made in Japan for USDM cars" kind of parts.

Is it possible you take close shots of the dampers/springs and the front/rear sway bars? (where they show the part numbers)

'Cuz maybe I could order some myself with those part numbers.
Or on the receipts of these parts you bought, there they should have the part numbers as well, if it's in Jap, it's ok, scan it, post it and I'll read it for myself.

No problemo 03!!! I see where you are coming from though with the Pep-Boys parts that are made in Japan that people calim are true "JDM"........ just because my t-shirt was made in japan, it doesn't mean its "JDM"!!! Hahahahahaha!!! I always keep my eye out for new authentic JDM goodies for my ride! Currently I have a bid on a Evo V carbon fiber passenger side (our drivers side) floor insert. It fills up the floor where you put your feet (walls, back, and bottom) I will modify it to hopefully fit my passenger side! Also a JDM carbon fiber roof scoop made for a Evo VI. I am prett good at reshaping, cutting, and blending carbon fiber, so I hope the contour of this wont pose to be too big of a problem. I will keep you update though!
