How about a CF fuse box? That would be great for engine dress up.

Awesome tutorial, but like ^^^ he said, how did you cut out the piece afterwards and get a nice clean look to it? Are all your pieces a shell covering of the stock parts, or are the pillars replacements for the stock parts? Ah, I know how you could make molds though, instead of doing the fiberglass on the outside of the part, do it on the inside. Wow, I can feel my brain working this morning.

the armrest is a shell and can be removed easily, the other pieces were made as an overlay and created to be permanent.

You answered one of my questions, which I thank you for.

1. How did you cut the material to get the nice clean look?
2. On the pillars, since you laid the material over a stock part the CF part will be larger than the stock part. Do they still nearly fit like a stock part?

1. for the most part a good dremel tool and a sander is all i needed to get the parts trimmed and cleaned up. Sometimes the resin builds up in certain areas on the excess pieces and become hard to cut, just make sure you have some sharp blades and plenty of low grit sand paper.

2. those parts that are overlayed, they areny much bigger than stock. I mean it's like millimeters bigger, nothing to worry about. All my pillars fit just like stock and arent ANY bigger.

Thanks for answering my questions. I really want to get into this right now, but I have other things I want before I can afford to throw $100 at a project. Keep up the good work.
