Honestly isn't that what the whole import scene is about? Doing something a lil different and being unique. We wouldn't have all the stuff we have on our cars today if it wasn't for the people who dared to try it. Many of us lancer owners, not saying all so don't get me wrong, tend to play it safe. We know intakes are common, carbon fiber hoods are seen on a lot of cars, etc. But we must respect the fact someone will do something out of the norm in this case lambo doors and respect that. We may not all like it on 'our cars' but it is a unique way of modding our Lancers since on one else has it (lancer owners). So on the idea. There will always be someone out there who will not agree with the idea or down right diss on it...then there will be the few or many that will be like "damn that's cool." But most importantly it's what you think looks good to you and that's what matters most IMO... you should give it a shot.

 

lambo up front and suicide in back would look sweet, definitely something different...that wrx looked insane! like a lot of these guys are saying though, definitely do whatever you want, don't worry what anyone else thinks

It really comes down to whatever floats your boat. Some people think putting neon lights on a car is rice, but people still do it because to them it looks good. So hell, if you like em just do it already.

Right now Im not doing Suicide in the back. Only becuase of funds.

 

dont do it. a friend of mine did it to his civic. it looks all right, but his is a two door.....besides, you have to open the door almost half way before it can pivot upwards. cool for show. not for street. also, when your doing about 95mph down the freeway and your doors start to rattle,and you cant hear your tunes or even your passenger its gonna suck!

 

Um i really dont care about your freinds civic. It sounds to me like he has a half *** lambo kit. Also I dont plan on going over 85 anytime soon. I'm gonna do it becuase I want to and thats opinion.

 

I just made a post, I am ready to do a lambo vertical door, for the lancer, I had the ideal of vertical with suiside on the back door, the day i got the car last year, but having alot of credit card debt has keep my dream just a dream but in two month my dream may come true, verticaldoors.com said they will make the lambo kit as long as we get 10 people same year same car, mine is a 2002 lancer oz, model shouldn't matter, it will be 1,599 plus tax, anyone that is truly thinking about going, I am talking without a doubt not just dreaming let me know, cause they wont make it for one , if they did I wouldn't be posting,
