I only paid for parts...
wood: 40
Fiberglass: 30ish
resin: 20
Apm brackets: 60
Apholstry: 130
Kenwood HU: 130
extra stuff around 40-50 (I havn't finished paying yet)

I got HOOKED UP! The guy that did it for me is on my team, and he's seriously pro. I can't believe how awesome it came out... wait, yes I can.

actually it goes to show my hard work pays off, and that joining a top quality show team has been a real blessing. www.teamshowcase.com I don't get treated any diffrently by the people in my team. Showcase is like a family. We help each other out however we can. If one person has a talent for something, they'll help you out. We all bring in diffrent qualities to the team, and Darius just happened to be able to help me with my set up. Had nothing to do w/ me being a girl. http://www.teamshowcase.com/featured...david_tran.php

look at that guy's car.. the same dude that did my system, did this guy's too. we all get the same amount of help.

Um... huh?

The cone will be exposed to the exact same pressures no matter which way it's faced, seriously. Think about it. In or out is THE SAME.

Personally, I like out. It looks cool. It catches the eye and says "Look at me" which, if I'm not mistaken, is what you want on the show circuit. The only thing you should do differently if you're facing the subs basket out would be to wire the sub out of phase (IE: positive off the amp to neg on the sub and vice versa) This way your sub will still be firing "in phase" with your other speakers, which will result in no detriment to sound quality at all.
