is this a general question to every one? if so, i installed it myself.. its a direct bolt on with the stock spoiler. but if ur car didnt come with a spoiler u might want to take it to the shop

Drive02Lancer---Mine is an EVO 7 style...it's hard to see now with the trunk but the bases / pedestals are bigger on the 7 than on the 8..

the legs of the evo 7 wing protrudes outwards, whereas the legs of the evo 8 wing goes inwards..

One of the selliers on Ebay charges $80+ to paint and ship it. I wouldn't recommand getting a painted one shipped though because it could get scrached during shipment
