its bout an inch lower than the OZ bumper i think. the lancer is too freaken high to be scraping anything with lowering spring.

I believe the kaminari kit hangs highest out of all the aftermarket kits. So I don't think you'll have any problem with scraping.

been riding with my kaminari kit for almost as long as i've had the car....it's about the same as the oz-kit...i'd say more like half an inch to an inch lower....driving around here in hialeah with the potholes i haven't had any problems and i have the progress springs too....i've driven my car in Gainesville...you won't have any issues man...I definitely recommend it...the urethane is awesome...just make sure whoever paints it uses a good primer coat and a good clear coat otherwise the flexing of the urethane with chip your paint...i found out the hard way...good luck man enjoy

i just have the OZ lips and no lowering spings and i scrape everyonceandawhile in the parking lot of this student center i go 2-3 times a week. i am glad to hear that the kami kit doesnt lower as much as the others. does the stance of the lancer with the kaminari kit and a lowering springs look aggressive at that height?

Must be an interesting parking lot. I have oz kit WITH lowering springs and I have never scraped anything anywhere. (with the exception of me once going up a little far on a curb while parking the day after I lowered it)

does the stance of the lancer with the kaminari kit and a lowering springs look aggressive at that height?
I personally don't think it has that aggressive look. Some will argue and to each their opinion. However it is the one reason I decided when I get a kit it will deffinately not be the kaminari. To me, it just looks like the oz with a couple pieces over it. "Subtle" is the word.. not "aggressive." But many people like subtle.

i got the kaminari kit, if i could ever get this damn thing to work and get my pics uploaded then u could see, but i like it cause its not too flashy but still stand out from the OZ, by the way ive just got the front bumper w/ progress springs and ive never scraped, like somebody said up top our car sits too damn high to scrape nething but the kaminari kit isnt much lower than the OZ

my kaminari just showed up yesterday. there was my dumb *** out in the parking lot trying to hold both ends up over the stock bumper to see the difference. an inch, maybe. i'm also the proud owner of a 7' box if anyone needs toys for their kids to play in. my dog seems to love the thing.

LOL

^sweet man i could use a box right now so i could have someplace to sleep.

the parking lot where i scrape has the entrance at a practically 45 degree angle, its ridicualous and everybody scrapes, even jettas.

yeah as much as I love the look at a lower hanging kit (ex: ken style kit) I have to deal with speed bumps and extreme uphill angles where I live. So I'm guessing kaminari would be the kit to go with.

Not to mention the fact that its made of polyurethane and can be fixed easier than fiberglass should something happen. By the way, is this the only polyurethane kit for our cars out right now?
