steering wheel install

a friend of mine gave me a steering wheel today. he just decided he didn't need it. the only thing i have is the wheel. it has two horn buttons that are wired already, and a five hole pattern in the center. anyway i need to know 1) how to take off the old steering wheel. 2)what parts i need to install the wheel.

can anyone help me out? thanks in advance.

I asked the same question before I bought a new steering wheel. The problem is that are car has an air bag and the unversial steering wheels don't. At this time there is no hub adapter for are car, although some ppl said Momo makes one others said it doesn't work. The only steering wheel thats a direct fit is the Momo steering wheel from the Evo VIII.

Yea what he said, YOu need a hub and if you put it on it will be illegal to install a steering wheel with no air bag on a car made after 1993.

I say just sell it and either keep stock or lose your cruise control and get the evo 8

i'm not concerned about the legality of it. i do things all the time that are illegal. but according to h8yourv8, there is no hub that will adapt the steering wheel to the column. so i'll probably end up going with your second suggestion blacksheep.
