im buying a body kit this month and im sitting on the decision between the Walker style and the Apex II.

Its a black OZ Rally... so i want your opinions please on which would look best.

I wouldnt be doing a bodykit so near the beginning of purchasing the car... but i had an accident where my sideskirt got ripped off and ran over... and they want $400 for an original OZ Rally side. So bodykit... here I come. I just want a few opinions.

 

not the walker kit... it's seriously discusting. go for the apex II.
I've seen the walker kit in person, trust me, the back bumper is really ugly.

kaminari kit. but out of the two kits u provided id go with the apex 2 kit. unless you have a intercooler, get the walker front bumper. the rear is FUGLY

 

dude... apexII looks so nasty on black........ the only kit that looks good on black lancers is the kenstyle :-\... to each his own ^^ just my opinion!

What he said. IMO the Kenstyle & E7 conversion are the only cool kits for the Lancer.

ill get it asap and put it on, i need a new passenger fender as well though..anyone know where i can get one? some guy found one for $130ish online but he never said where

 

personally i like the apex 2 kit alot more also... but ive heard mixed things about accolade. ive heard they sucked for a long time, but that they have cleaned up their act. can someone answer this for me.... can i trust accolade with my money for an apex 2?

 

I ordered the apex II kit 3 weeks ago friday. The one thing you have to think about is how long you can wait. They told me it would take 3 weeks to ship. But I have heard horrid stories too about accolade and shipping times as well as fitment issues. There was just a group buy from accolade recently to that is awaiting delivery. It is when these kits come in that we will have true word on whether accolade has gotten their act together. You can get the Apex I kit (but I think you have to either remove the reiforcment bar or shave it, I cant remember. I saw it in a thread on the web site) immediately from their us distributor, but the Apex II has to come from Sri Lanka. I was going to go with the Walker kit because I think the front looks good. But the rear bumper look was killing me. BTW-I paid 850.00 shipped for the apex II kit with GT hood and grill (the hood comes with the rain guard underneath also to redirect excess H2O from the engine), and an Evo VII spoiler. Good luck. So... did you get your kit yet?? What about the EVO VII kit?? do you have to remove or shave the reinforment bar on that too??

 

for the evo7 kit, if your getting accolades, u dont need to remove any reinforecements, if your going import trenz then you do, unless you wait for V2, which i dont think has aa axact date just yet

 

thats cool... now that I know THAT information... time to start ordering...
