How does this look?
The shift light would be helpful, I suppose. Makes things easier. That's the only reason I can think of. And unless you're drag racing, you really don't need a shift light all that much. But maybe it's just an accessory to make shifting easier.
Its fun when you start thinking of what you want to say in your head and people have already managed to voice the same opinion....
Its a nice mounting job I suppose, but I dont really understand the reasoning behind it. I never have understood the idea of the big tach. I realize in todays industry gauges are quite worhtless (temp gauges that dont move for slight increases so consumers dont think something is wrong, tachs that start climbing after your foot is off the gas when revving, etc) but I think its overkill.
As long as you like it though, who cares? Your car, your expression, your choice.

To answer everybody's questions, simply no there's no real point behind it except for the fact that I think it looks good and is better than the factory, and yes it is operational, car was not running when pic was took, but back to why I have it. Everyone says it's pointless to have, does no good, car already has one--true, so with that in mind, then justify bigger rims, car already rims, body kits, the car comes with it already, stereos, car's got that too! The list could on and on, point of everyone "customizing" their cars isn't to add something it doesn't already have but to replace and urgrade what it does have to satisfy their own personal tastes. Thanks to everyone with positive feedback, though.

I think it looks real good and its easier to read. Its gonna look real hot when the color matches the dash and cluster ect.
He's got a point. You didn't replace or upgrade your tach, you put in a second. i wouldn't put 8 wheels on my car.
i like the concept of a larger tach with the shift light. i just don't like the "tach above the other tach" part of it. That's all. But that's just my opinion.
