Isnt it a ***** to get on.....
I didnt have to bend my lock though...I opended up the predrilled slot where the locking mechanisim bolts on to. I raised it about 1/2 an inch or so.
But gettin the lines to line up......dayum it's hard.....my trunk is sitting a little higer than it should but F'it...it's good enough for me.
Like I said Good fit, not great.

Does your trunk open violently now?
Mine is a borderline weapon now!

lookin' sweet man! as far as the trunk flying open; some other peeps have removed the spring that sends it shooting upwards, doing so is probably your best defense against facial injuries while opening your trunk!
and someday you're probably gonna wanna sit down and work on getting the trunk to sit a little lower. i know, i know, it's a pain; i'm facing the same trouble with my VIS cf hood... but it'll be worth it to have a clean flush linke. good luck, man... and again... lookin' sweet! i hope to get one myself someday soon!!

Yes, mine was ready to take something out.. I worked all night trying to sit it as flush as possible, my only problem now is the weather stripping in some areas, pushing the trunk up about 2-3mm. I am not sure if I want to start f-ing with the weather stripping yet..However, I removed one spring to start, and it opened alot slower, however it made the trunk sit un-even. So I took off both springs, so it basically has no spring reaction, but also sits alot lower after that too. Now I use one of the springs I cut off to hold my trunk open just like the hood

Do you see him often B/c if so he can give u the subs and we can meet much like we did for the headlights (thank u btw, business is booming) and then u give him the cash..
Nice trunk Corona
, I have the EXACT same problem with mine sitting up just alittle too high but it's only on the left side, the right side is perfect. I think it is how they are made because my old CF trunk from tunerracing did the same thing as the new one they sent me. Oh well , good enough for me also
Again nice looking ride
