Installing gauges

Hey guys
I am planning on either getting a triple A-pillar pod or that really cool center gauge pod that Gruppe-S sells.

Either way I need 3 gauges
i think I will be using autometer, should I go with phantom (white face with black trim) or ultra-lite or silver (white face w/ silver trim)

does anybody know if it lights up the same way as our stock gauges (numbers should glow red)

also what gauges should I get

I can think of oil pressure and temp, EGT, tranny temp, what else guys? I know a/f is garbage and vac really doesn't make sense to have

thanks

i dont see why u would need gauges right now, other than the stock one u have. there really isn't a need for extra gauge clusters, unless u got turbo and all that, then u'd need shyt like pressure gauge, temp guage etc...

but other than heavy engine mods, dont waste ur money on gauges man.

my opinion......
get the phantom (white face) gauges, and change the bulb out with a red one. they pretty much match the factory gauges perfectly (color wise). as far as the gauge holders themselves, its pretty much up to you. just remember, the a pillar attracts A LOT of attention. if anything, make sure you have/get an alarm.

a/f is fun to watch though

get a wideband o2 sensor with the digital readout, it'd be cool, and an s-afc to so u can tune some or just have it to look cool.

id go with the a-pillar, i think thats the 'hot spot' for me.... but id have 2 on the pillar and 3 on the dash(not in the dash liek the DIN hole but on top of the dash) and than a o2 digital readout on the steering hub, and a huge Tach left of the steering wheel...thats my plans...for my truck anyways...why so many...air bag pressure gauges haha!
