Yea so today im on 75 and i get behind this truck that starts kicking up rocks and mud, so i get out from behind him, and get his license plate, and company and all that. I got to my exit and was going to the bank and there just happend to be a cop there, so i filed a report. but it cracked my cf hood in 2 diff spots, chipped the paint on the passenger pillar by the windshield, and also some chips out of the front bumper cover. so im wondering if nebody here has gone through ne of this and could give me some advise. anything would be appreciated.

 

Find out what that company is and talk to someone within that company. Ask them to compensate you for damage done by the truck, and if they refuse threaten them with a lawyer. If they still refuse then you can go to a law firm and have them send the company a letter demanding compensation or a lawsuit will be filed. Usually the letter will scare the **** out of them. Good luck.

 

Going to be hard to prove unless the truck was carrying rocks and debris. It just like getting windshield chips from rocks kicked up by other cars. You can't prove it nor is it their fault if there were rocks on the road. Just think how many rocks you kicked up while driving.

 

cf hoods shouldn't crack..unless its cheap **** cf

 

it just cracked the resin, it didnt crack all the way through, one was kind of a spider web near the grill and the other was a chip on the actual grill. second it wasnt the he kicked up rocks, they were fall off the bottom of his truck, it was caked in mud and ****, and it wasnt just like one or two rock they were flyin up everywhere. o yea its a vis hood aka not cheap ***
