Ok, I have a different question about the seats. Do they sit any lower? I've been thinking about adding seats like that to my list of mods, but I'd like to get closer to the floor.

Are those Stock EVO 8 Seats? Did you order them or buy off EVO 8 Owner? If you ordered them, did you only pay 1100 like it says in registry?

mcbrown, did you have to do anything special to get those seats mounted, or did they mount up to the stock runners? Those Corbeaus look nice and I'll definately be looking at them when I change out my seats.

The recaros are a direct bolt in up front, the rears require some work. I shopped around for a while before buying mine and was able to save a bunch of money. I bought the fronts and back for $700 + shipping, which worked out to be around $1050ish. If I knew the back wouldnt fit perfect, I would have just not got them and saved myself a couple hundred bucks... but now that they are in, they look great and they were worth the extra work

Do the recaros sit lower in the car? That's one of the things I'm looking for. I don't plan on changing out my rear seat, but do you have any pictures of it?

great seats - ugly outlet-store seatbelt covers.

What kind of extra work did you have to do to the rear seats to get them in? Did you have to buy anything to get them in there?

I bought the Corbeau vehicle specific mounting slider/bracket combo... They were about 60ish a piece...

They are definately lower but sacrifice some leg room...

Sounds like a pretty easy install then. I'm not too worried about leg room. I sit closer than most my height anyway. It's partly the racer in me and partly because it's easier on my back on long drives.
