The square boxed mesh looks cheap and that you went out to the local farm and cut some fence off the chicken coupe and put it on your car. You could have at least made the stuff like like it was diamond shaped by putting it in at an angle. Just...no wouldn't have done it to mine. Sorry man, no props!

errr, thanks for the comments . I gotta fine-tune it, im gonna add a darker black mesh to cover the silver part, so you wont see ANY silver at all, stay tuned. Also the reason why you see the silver in backing in the pics really good, is because the son is directly infront of my grill, hence why my car is silver but has a gloss shine to the front, on a reg day you cant even see the silver that much. Its just the sun being an *** on that day . I think for a custom job, i did a great job. Even my mitsu dealer said its the best custom they've seen and actually stay together. For those who say buy an RRM one, not everybody has the money to do this, you work with what you got (funds). It doesnt matter how much it cost, the alluminum grill is sturdy, rust proff and nice, the screen mesh is behind the allimunium, you can barely see it unless your right upclose. Thanks for all the replies thou.

Hey, I give the guy credit for attempting something "orginal" I bet he will be the only one around with a grill like that...

I think that all of us in here attempt to achieve some sort of originality. There are only so many options of a body kit or exhaust or other things for our lancers so anyway we can get that different edge should be praised... I know I know, I should shut up already with this semi-touching moment....

I think it looks really nice and I'm very surprised that so many negative reviews are popping out of the woodwork here. It just seems very uncharacteristic of the forums here, but maybe I'm missing something.

Anyway, good deal dude. I don't even think the silver behind it is too visible right now, especially with the sun glare probably showing it off and the cameras likelihood to accentuate a detail like that. Anyway, what little there is of that, if you paint that or wrap it with an extra layer of fine mesh, like the screen mesh, I'm sure it'll look even better.

Nice job. Really.

yo sorry for shooting you down bro. what i REALLY meant was clean it up a little like get the screen door stuff out and paint the backing.maybe a litttle trim around the edges. but honestly, i need to shut my mouth up more often. i should just be happy people are trying different **** with our cars. when somebody does somthing original we should all give contrsuctive criticism (or something like that, u guys remember 2nd grade dont you?!). anyway i will be more open minded when i see this stuff and i'll just shut right now.

I actually like it. I think it looks pretty good. I can see the supports and stuff with the grill I got off Road Race, and that doesn't bother me at all. Nice work!

Its different for sure. I bet it looks rediculously cool in real life though.
But off the pic, I could say spraying the grill silver to match the car... Could make it all look seemless, which would be kewl.

The grill would me uber nice if it was more dense to... The box size seem a bit big. Maybe screen door mesh might do the trick.

Bigger emblem though, reglueing the same badge you got from your trunk isn't a smooth move unless if you design something to suit.

Other than that.

:thumbs up: man.
