I did Duplicolor primer, spray cans and clear coat. Came out fine. Woulda been better had I spent more time on the door handles. All the (more or less) flat pieces came out like a million bucks though. Either way it's gonna come out as well as the care, diligence and time you put into it.

Personally I'd go with spray cans and clear coat. Be sure to clean everything before you spray. Sand if need be, prime if need be. Follow instructions to the letter. Do a couple pieces at a time if you can't do it all at once. Don't be hasty and it'll come out great.

i would use a spray can also.. but i just cant find a company that has rio red!.. so i'm most likely gonna invest in an airbrush... and get the exact color mixed in a can.... maybee im going off the deep end with this... someone correct me if im wrong.. show me the light so to speak!

i have been on this board for awhile and have seen many MANY people do their own interior, person, a bright red interior i think is crap, but quality wise, all the DIY i have seen has come out perfect, like hobie said, just take your time, have patience, and it will def be cheaper

If you go with airbrushing, which is a good choice IMO. Make sure that you practice on some stuff first. It's harder than you might originally think, but you should get the hang of it quickly.

i say DIY b/c a lot of people on here have done their rides and if you look at the ride profiles they look really good. some of the color combos aren't too great, looks tacky but at least they look very professional
