I have two sparco 4-point harnesses but I dont want to lose my backseat (nudge nudge wink wink... i wish) so i decided not to put them in. If a bolt-in roll cage is ever developed i will prob put them in, but its too expensive to get one custom engineered.

as for the stock seat belts, MMR (the comp that made the brackets) makes a spot on the brackets to attach the factory female seat belt end. Very convenient.

and no, the back seats are stock for now... need to let the funds regenerate befo any other big purchases

hmmm i dont remember seeing leather in thier lineup.... i'm pretty sure recaro or corbeau make leather though

 

i haven't autoX'd yet, thats why i said "i want seats for WHEN i autoX" like when that day comes. I just found the POC for the local autoXing around here but the phone number was disconected. oh well.

I just installed R1 racing seats in my Lancer and Weapon R seat belt Harnesss. I wanted to know if your seats sit real high? Mine do, but I think its because I used the factory brackets.

no, they didnt come with brackets... sparco's bracket for the 2002+ lancer is not out for sale yet and they dont have any timetabe as of when it will be. So I had to get them custom made in Cali.

They look phat bro. You should buy two more and put them in the back. The only reason that I havent bought them is that mines came with leather interior. I have a white lancer with an all black interior. I think it looks phat the way it is. But if the leather ever happens to go bad. You can bet your *** that I'll buy the Torino seats and install them.
