Ok, I'm looking to purchase the Apex II kit from Accolade. The price is the same for full kit or half kit, so I figure get the full kit. But I don't want the hood... I like my stock hood/grill. I don't see anyone on ebay selling a hood like it, so I have no clue whether I should even bother putting it up there. How much do you think I could sell it for?

 

You can probably get a couple hundred bucks for it, assuming it'll fit well. I've seen them on ebay, so I'd list it there.

 

Just start the auction at a penny and see where it ends. Whatever it is, that's money to help pay for your kit!

 

And that's what I was thinking. Couple hundred bucks pays for half the kit alone. It'd probably be a hot auction since right now there are only evo 8 hoods on ebay. TBH, I think the evo 8 hood sucks..

 

i sold that hood for $37...lol...if it has a lat its worth a latch then i would say that it would be worth a little bit more....if not then i wouldnt worry about it....id talk to dave from accolade and ask him to take some off the price

you might get more money if you decide to give it a good paint job first, and if you do that paint it yellow, usually the fools who put body kits on their cars have yellow lancers......what? its true!!!

Only like 1/4th of the cars in the accolade gallery are yellow.. and my car certainly isn't yellow.

 

try to duplicate the vagina hood (see the thread about the custom wide body)

 

the problem with selling items like hoods on ebay is the cost of shipping... unless you have good rates with truck companies like we do its hard to make it feasible to the end buyer... By the way thanks for choosing ACCOLADE.

 

nothing was wrong with it just didnt have a latch so i didnt bother to put it back on...about the greddy i put it back on...i kinda missed it

 

and the other reason why i sold it for so cheao was the fact that i didnt get it for much more than that and i know that i could have easily gotten $100 for it but i didnt want to ship it cus like dave said its a hassle
