I know it's been a long time since this thread was posted, but I wanted to ask you a question about the EVO gauges fitting into the Oz Lancer. I believe you said they were swappable? Do you know if it's just a plug in type swap or If they will infact work once installed? Thanks, I would appreciate ANY info you could give me concerning the Evo gauges being installed into a NON-EVO Lancer. Thanks! -Brian

I bought EVO 8 cluster and waiting it(shipped).
and some information here.
someone said 'NO it won't work cuz speedometer needle will move same distance as stock but evo has 160MPH so it can read higher than actual running speed'. maybe it can fixed by working on program setting but i have no idea with it.
and the other said 'it works OK just different red line'.(who has EVO one in ES now.) well..N E way..let's see....i'll post when i get it on.

So no problems with the RPM's? Or speedometer? I don't know if it would make a difference between a manual and automatic transmission would it? Does it show the mileage from the EVO it was previously installed in? Thanks, Brian.

got 'EVO8' cluster today and it worked OK! it doesn't have ACD indicator(03) and speedometer reading just fine. so much better than 'ES' ugly guage.

I'm going to swap in an Evo 8 gauge cluster with the custom white gauge faces from ebay.

Question is, can I transfer the mileage over to the new cluster? When I took my gauge cluster apart to change the illumination, I seem to remember the LCD screen and chip that holds that information was easily separated so it should fit into the replacement!
