aside that and some stress, i am glad i did this. it turned out to be pretty sweet. there is quite a few pics also.
two pics of what it looks like with the entire dash tooken out, its a mess:

wow.. gotta give you credit... thats a lot of work... cant wait to see the finish project
FINALLY, the good stuff. choice of fabric: Black Suede. top dash piece finished and pre-assembled.
Almost Done!! i still have to put back in my stereo and wrench in a few more bolts ,but you get the picture.
it was a lot of work, with no help. but, very much well worth it. nothing beats self-satisfaction. i also did the all of the pillars, and the next thing to tackle is the headliner. of course in suede! let me know you all think of it. any and all replies are welcome. thanks a bunch

Great work, you're a brave man for taking on such a difficult task (I sure as hell would'nt do it). Like the suede, is it real or the faux stuff?

i know the pain it is taking the dash apart, i did it last week to replace all my interior/cluster lights and the worst part was i had like 3 screws left over when i was done putting it back together
