let me just say that this was one hell of a project to tackle. i never encountered so many screws, bolts, and clips in my life!! aside that and some stress, i am glad i did this. it turned out to be pretty sweet. there is quite a few pics also.

air vents and all of the screws and bolts that were needed to be tooken out in order to get the dash out:

FINALLY, the good stuff. choice of fabric: Black Suede. top dash piece finished and pre-assembled.

Almost Done!! i still have to put back in my stereo and wrench in a few more bolts ,but you get the picture.

it was a lot of work, with no help. but, very much well worth it. nothing beats self-satisfaction. i also did the all of the pillars, and the next thing to tackle is the headliner. of course in suede! let me know you all think of it. any and all replies are welcome. thanks a bunch

Great work, you're a brave man for taking on such a difficult task (I sure as hell would'nt do it). Like the suede, is it real or the faux stuff?

all I have to say is WOW. Its about time someone did a proper interior job of their Lancer.

Im so sick of seing these painted vinal peices that look like garbage from a 91 civic dx. GREAT JOB!!

very nice

i know the pain it is taking the dash apart, i did it last week to replace all my interior/cluster lights and the worst part was i had like 3 screws left over when i was done putting it back together
