That's an awesome idea.. I think i'll do it myself though, people are scared of the seals being messed up and it fogging but couldn't you use silicone caulking or like gorilla glue to help seal it up even more?

 

It's so easy to do but yeah you could use silicone to help if needed but there's plenty of silicone already on it.

the thing is.. people are scared of hurting their headlights.. we have pretty much have perfected it. we have pictures and everything.

i've never done it... i've had my lancer for a few months and only have the RRM short ram air intake. Mine's silver though.. i don't know how good it would look with blacked out headlights

 

it looks good trust me i think this is one show mod that every car looks good with

Yeah it did take me two days to do it because I took my time with it. All my projects on my car I take awhile to do. It's my hobbie, I have fun with it. I think black housing headlights look good on any color car. So like pumpdog720 said "Do it! Do it! Do it!"

 

Are you guys still doing this? If you are, can you guys smoke the lenses as well?
