im a fan of stuff that sets a car apart.....and yours with the stripes makes it very rare looking. if you pull off the mods cool......but dont roll with anything with more than 4 cylinders lol. I like it tho overall!
It is interesting to see you guys flaming this guy for being brave enough to try something different in the way of a simple cosmetic job which he was most likely experimenting with just to see what it looked like, the black stripes I am sure are very easy to remove but the work that he is doing to his engine is something of a challenge and to be admired setting up a stage 2 cam with P&P head valve springs larger injectors plus all the other goodies is some what of a job to achieve, I actually just sld my stage 2 cam due to the fact that I love the way my stage 1 is dialled in and that it gives a **** load of bottem end torque and will lite the tyres first thru to third with no problems at all.
To the gentleman that is doing this setup if you have idle problems it is due to your air flow meter as your stock meter is just not up to the job of telling the ECU what to do even if you have a piggy back this can be over come and fixed, get in touch with RPW here in Western Australia and speak to the guy there he has a suitable upgrade for this problem and will give you a very tuneable car that feels like a stock car but with all the performance of a very modified car, your other big problem will be traction you may want to invest in a Limited Slip Diff
good luck with it look forward to seeing your results

and as far as saying that "we know our cars..." to me you have not yet tried hard enough to get those extra ponies from the car we have some marvellous turboed cars running on stock internals, stock box and are pulling 11's and these are 4g93 we also have a few N/A 4g93's that are running low 14's here so you can't give me that rubbish that these cars can not produce great times, as far as the 4g94's these have been modified but not in large quantities due to they are a relitively new car to our market but I am sure that we can expect to see some very nice numbers as well. you just need to know how to make a car go fast and this guy that you have been slamming he is on the right track
but I don't blame him for not answering you guys.... I wouldn't be bothered with ya's either if I was getting that sort of a response
sorry, im with chris on this. yes his car does look distasteful to me but he is showing up the rest of you guys right now and you have to respect that.
kansaslancer, i suggest you get on the rpw boards, youll get more support there. and your injectors are well above what is needed, and a emanage would probably be better for you to control the cam since the rrm piggyback doesnt control anything but fuel.
