Your sponsor contract isn't from Racer X is it???? If it is I suggest you do a search on here about them....it may help you make a decision about that

Do what you wan't thats what matters. You asked for opinions and my opinion is that your car is really nice, really clean and I wouldnt want to change that look with vynal. I really like your car and hope mine can look as nice as that one day. If you want something a little more that will give you taht extra edge be different. Get some airbrusing done on the front lip of the car. Just the bottom lip. Something subtile yet good. For instance some skulls and gravestones. You sand your clear of the lip of the bumper (wet sand) paint it with the design you like using bright colours and then add a black to the clear to darken it up. Then it will be semi-hidden. It wont be stand out obvious but it will be sick and judges love that stuff. Tey will look at your car and say whoa wait a sec look at this...this guy went a different rout. It isnt fast and furrious and it is custom.


Thats the route I'm planning on taking and suggest the same for you. Keep it Clean.
But most importantly make it how you want it. If you like the stand out vynal then go for it. I just think black cars look better sleek and clean and I figure if you wanted it to stand out you would have bought a yellow car.

 

its not directly with RacerX... its thro SportCompactPro. i applied and they emailed saying they were interested. they would send me a contract and then when i return that, theyll send me a contact list of their people. said my contract was $12K and all i have to do is come to 4 shows in the '04-05 season

 

yea so i talked to the guys at Projekt 7 tuning. he said racer X is crazy SCAM!! ill just have to wait n see if its still them under "Sport Compact Pro" but.. whateva.. sucks

hey man i say go for it i drive a yellow lancer and i am getting ready to get evo 7 series body kit from accolade see i plan on having a show car so i plan on getting graphics put on as soon as i get the kit and an evo 7 wing. the graphics i plan on getting are at modernimage.net the one i want is gra106 or if you have need for speed undergound look at the wild graphics number 4 i think they will look really good on my car. but any ways like i said go for it man as long as you like it thats all that matters

graphics are lame, just get a real nice paint job, keep it clean...you will get more props.

 

I had simple graphics on mine at one point, all I got was sh*t from everyone, and they comvinced me so I removed it.
