I went to a place in national city called Solar Eclipse, got it done for $160-$10 for bringing in an ad = $150. Those arent hubs, theyre the stock 15" ls rims. I work part-time & go to school fulltime, so the more costly mods are few & far bewteen. I plan on getting rims once the tires are spent, & i'll be going w/ 17" gunmetal & chrome lip. Dont want to make my car fast, just a little quicker. since its an auto AND just starting the payments on it in april of this year, I dont see a turbo in the near future. I just want to make it an all around good looking car. If that new lip thats being mentioned in other threads ever gets made Id go for that. cuz $220+ for a lip (rmr type2) is cuckoo like cocoa puffs.
so recap for the future:
-17" gunmetal
-springs
-new headunit because the one I ave now is scratching my cd's
-full lip kit
-some go-fast parts (n/a kinda stuff)
-oz wing
-after I graduate (like 3 yrs from now) then maybe turbo. ;D

p.s.-anybody in socal that can do the black headlight mod relatively cheap? preferably in SD

 

the tint looks awesome and yes one word RIMS

Tint is next on my list of cosmetics for my EVO but due to living in Oregon best I can do is 35%

 

am i the only 1 with silver tint on a thundergray lancer.... every1 seems to love black

Got mine done (black tint) with 35% - 5% - 5% for $180 w/ lifetime, nationwide warranty.

yeah im gonna tint my windows next....i got a friend at my local mitsu dealer, gonna tint mine 5% all around lmao, ill keep the reciept from it so if ig et pulled over i can show them its factory work...if that doesnt work than oh well

Yeah I have limo tint except for my driver and passanger side doors. New Jersey has terrible laws and if you get pulled over for it you HAVE to go to court!! A friend of mine went to court because of that. It sucks.

its only 35%, so you can always see through it. but my friends get pulled over for their tint and they never have to go to court. you only go if you dont wanna pay the $40 fix-it ticket.

 

i'm actually beginning to like the 30% tints better than 20%, i had 15 on my lancer, darkness, got like 6 tickets in a year, i put 30 on my CL and i think it looks classy, it depends on the car
