fiberglassing bumper
fiberglassing bumper
i got a question about fiberglassing if anyone knows. i know how to fiberglass but i want to cover the semi-circle hole for the exhaust in the rear bumper and i don't know how to make it flush with the rest of the bumper...is there a way that you're supposed to do it for it to flush right? like maybe fiberglassing from the inside or something?
first of all are you using a stock bumper?? if so you are wasting time. it is very dificult to get fg to stick to abs or urethane. if you are using a glass bumper however it is not as hard. i would glass a plate to hte inside and fill the rest with body filler. but dont use bondo brand use evercoat brand. bondo uses polyurehtane spheres in their filler which leaves air bubbles. evercoat uses kevlar whichmakes a stronger filler and less bubbles.
