the hood wont line up right on mine and has a gap towards the top i also have 3 or4 little pinhole sized pits in my hood which is said to be because it is fiberglass plus the "turbo" vent on the driverside was coming up a little bit on the tapered part. The hood is the only thing i absolutely hate about my EVO7 conversion. i someone could custom lay a Carbon Fiber EVO7 i would buy it.

Ya...long story on that...ill explain more in a post when i get the pics from the body shop. The hood was cracked to ****...the hood was a nightmare the guy said...he did a amazing job though!

 

another example of how SH|TTY that hood is...I paid a addition 200 bucks labour to get that thing right!!

Anyways, car is amazing. Very clean looking piece of work. Rims are the **** and the evo steering wheel almost scared me, Pictures are tastefull and i almost chocked on my sprite because it looks exactly like an evoVII, very scary

P.S. debadge that trunk of yours and buy a smaller lancer logo.

thanks man, thats a huge compliment saying my car is one of the best on the site...appreciate that...i was gonna debadge my trunk but then alot of ppl told me people would actually think i was a evo and try and race my *** and of course my being jus a plain old lancer, i would lose LOL.

Under the hood I have a Injen Cold Air intake and a Greddy Exhaust and suspension mods! Summer 2005 I am gonna do the RRM Turbo BUT at the moment its not affordable what so ever, but over winter I am gonna try and save like a mad man...ill become a hermit and stay in or something (YA RIGHT!!)

...but ya i defiantley wanna get a bigger emblem but im not sure where to get one...i was thinkin ebay...but thats the only place i can think of at the moment...

Your car looks great!!! They sell the emblems on ebay but I think the one guy Iam thinking of only sells them in silver(chrome)and he has a few different sizes.But I have seen the one you have but bigger on ebay too.
