Another Rainy Day Mod !
... and it costed me another dam .02¢ dang !
1. First start off to polish the zinc casting with Never Dull or Brasso or any metal polish to give it shiny look
2. Clean the metal with alchool to get rid of any grease and oils
3. Use a metal based oil paint like Tremclad and brush on some paint into the recessed lettering
3. Use a tissue and gently remove any excess paint from around the lettering
4. Repeat the procedure a day after the paint dries to get a fuller fill in the lettering
5. Enjoy !

Now that's what I call sticking with a color scheme! It more than likely won't get noticed at any shows, but I'm gonna do something similar now. Thinking of painting the entire ring around the ignition white and doing the lettering blue.

Well, its not for others to notice, but myself and whoever sits on the passenger side will see it also.
Painting the whole casting ring will get scratches from the key poking to find the key slot, I'am going to try painting it with Lumi-Glow paint so it glows at night too.
