sthiewes, if you got a thunder gray Lancer.... Paint the back rotor drum... flat black.or gloss.. and the front break calp red.... that's what i did with mine.... to paint all.... the drum and break calp red is kinda rice-E. but that's just me.......

im gonna paint my caliper and drum a dark blue....so its not bright but so u can tell ya know...ill have 17" motegi mr3's in a few days in gunmetal, thunder gray car, i got blue neons inside and blue painted interior...i think ill get a blue underbody kit soon i dunno...but ill prolly have a blue neon in my grill soon so it all kinda goes together...ya know...some will say 'rice' but i dont care...i drive a slow lancer...not a ferrari...

painting your stock caliapers is ok for a little bit untill the break dust gets to them and then they just look dirty and nasty all the time

I have gunmetal rims and i painted my drums in the back black, but painted the calipers in the front red. taking off the calipers were a pain in the @##, but well worth it.

I think that red is a good universal color for calipers, but it ain't original. If u gots somethin to match it to, then go wit that color.

Oh yeah, and by the way, I agree about postin some pics, but if u don't feel like readin then don't click on the topic.
